November 19 - 22
Fruit Box & The Plunge present
QUEER COMPOST
Tales and stories too queer for the main meal
Four summer nights of good old fashioned storytelling at the Old Fitz. Each night features five storytellers spinning tales from their queer lives inspired by one of our fruity prompts. Join us as we fundraise for another year of theatre magic from the Fruit Box community.
The Prompts- Tuesday 19 November: Seed, Wednesday 20 November: Tender, Thursday 21 November: Rot, Friday 22 November: Abundance.
Have a story to tell? Message the team at @fruitboxtheatre or email hello@fruitboxtheatre.com.au 🍎. Not sure if you have a story? Contact them anyway! They’ll talk you through it. Don't have a story? Buy your ticket to come along and listen!
* About Fruit Box Theatre: Founded by Madeleine Gandhi and Sean Landis in 2021, Fruit Box Theatre is an independent LGBTQIA+SB theatre company based on Gadigal Land (Sydney, Australia). We take intersectional queer works from conception to fruition. Our mission is to strengthen queer representation, wellbeing and collaboration in the arts, and to showcase the full spectrum of queer life - beyond tropes of isolation, discomfort and shame. *
