ANOMALIES
Written by Jordyn Fulcher
Directed by Matt Bostock
A WORLD PREMIERE
Trapped in the drawing room of their space station, three descendants of Earth’s billionaires become pawns in a revenge plot centuries in the making. As they unravel the dark legacies of their past, one burning question remains: who is to blame?
“Are we evil?”
In a collapsed drawing room, A, B, and C awaken to find themselves cut off from the rest of the space station. With the help of their virtual caretaker, T, they soon discover the harsh reality of their existence. Their space home was Earth's last hope. Now, the dead are seeking retribution for these crimes. Racing against time, these three damned souls must dive into the murky depths of their histories and themselves to save whatever remains of their humanity.
In this brain-tickling theatrical experience, Anomalies invites audiences through space and time into an exploration of contradictions – between our moral responsibilities and our reliance on the system that seeks to destroy us.
This world premiere of Anomalies also marks the highly anticipated debut of one of Sydney’s most thrilling new voices, Jordyn Fulcher. Told by an incredibly diverse team with key creatives who identify as trans, queer, of colour, and disabled, Anomalies is more than just a play - it’s an experience that will stay with you long after the lights come up.
